Hello, in my opinion, Pune is safe for girls. ILS has majority of female students and faculty. I don't think there is a need to worry about that. But, it is a very relative question and depends on the definition of safe for each.

With the details that you have shared, the general eligibility for admission in the BE course in YCCE is as stated below:
*Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together;
and Obtained score in MHT-CET 2017 or JEE Main Paper-I conducted by the Competent Authority.
