The CGPA calculation is done on the basis of how much marks you get overall on the semester examination and the activities mark including all the subjects with the total marks coverted to percentage and then it is calculated to CGPA as per university norms. The overall marks and semester marks CGPA are calculated accordingly.

If someone misses the internal exam of JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Mumbai he or she can reappear for the exam in next semester as the exam date will be missed but can be attented next time with an appropriate fee paid to the application of reappearance for the exam.

If a student fails in a internal exams he or she can reappear for the exam next year by applying for the exam as it can affect his or her overall performance. The websites and college gives this benefits to not maintaij a bad profile in overall semesters.

The number of students vary year to year with 89% students getting placed. 150 to 200 students are present each year in a batch. Which includes other students also from other courses of designing departments and seniors present in the campus. Overall the strength is quite good in number of students.

There is only one dress code for Fridays. JD Institute will provide each student with a free JD logo t-shirt. Boys and girls wear the same T-shirt. The fine is he at least 50 rupees per day. There are normally casual wear days where students can wear attires as per there suitability.

Yes, you can get direct admission in JD institute of fashion technology Mumbai by getting a senior secondary education or and UG Diploma degree from any recognised university or institution. 10+2 for UG is mandatory. Minimum 55% marks are necessary to get admission in fashion design courses of the institute.

It would be better if you specify the course such as a Diploma or degree and what is it that you are looking to do after the course. If you want to work at an Fashion Label or Co JD institute is also a well reputed college and comes in the top ten fashion institutes in India. The college have amazing campus life for fashion students.

Although JDIFT does not have any hostels on its campus but other amenities for student are present near college area. Some of the PG and hostel that are availaible near the college are aster luxe, purvi pg, joy elegance, bright youth, zolo, stanza living with other local dormitarys are also availaible.
