Pune has a total of 63 medical colleges for medical students. Out of these, 9 are Public/Government medical colleges while 54 are private medical colleges. Top medical colleges in Pune include Dr. D. The placement cell is not impressive, but companies do come. But in reality, students don't have jobs before the final year. The companies which are used to come to the campus are not big organizations more off they provide internships rather than jobs. There is no placement as it's a legal field, and therefore you do not have placements as such. However the college provides good internships with a stipend of Rs 5000 per month. We can also work as assistants and prepare for PG side by side. The internship experience is great and we get hands on experience on every aspect and are provided with deep knowledge about the field.
