Mangalore University offers BSc courses in full-time and part-time mode through its affiliated colleges. Moreover, the colleges offers a range of specialsiations in distinct subjects. Some of the offered specialsiations are- Nursing, Hospitality Science, Interior Deisgning, (Botany, Zoology, Chemistry), (Food, Nutrition, Dietics), etc.

The minimum scores required for admissions to BSc courses at Mangalore University-affiliated colleges range around 45% to 50%. The eligibility criteria that is available on the official website of the university is candidates must complete their Class 12 from a recognised board of education. In addition, candidates must have studied the related subject according to their chosen specialisations.
Therefore, candidates with 70% scores in Class 12 are eligible to get admission into BSc courses. However, the admission is based on merit, so there are chances that the students with more than 70% secured all seats in the BSc programme.

Yes, candidates can get direct admissions to BSc courses at Mangalore University-affiliated colleges. However, before getting enrolled, candidates are required to fulfil the eligibility criteria, i.e., the successful completion of the Class 12 examination or its equivalent from a recognised board with related stream/ subjects. Admissions are based on the merit of the last qualifying examination marks.

Hence, Mangalore University is more affordable for BSc courses compared to Bangalore University.
