Mangalore University offers BSc courses in full-time and part-time mode through its affiliated colleges. Moreover, the colleges offers a range of specialsiations in distinct subjects. Some of the offered specialsiations are- Nursing, Hospitality Science, Interior Deisgning, (Botany, Zoology, Chemistry), (Food, Nutrition, Dietics), etc.

Yes, candidates can get direct admissions to BSc courses at Mangalore University-affiliated colleges. However, before getting enrolled, candidates are required to fulfil the eligibility criteria, i.e., the successful completion of the Class 12 examination or its equivalent from a recognised board with related stream/ subjects. Admissions are based on the merit of the last qualifying examination marks.

Hence, Mangalore University is more affordable for BSc courses compared to Bangalore University. Mangalore University offers BSc courses in both full-time and part-time/distance mode. The university offers the BSc courses through its affiliated colleges in full-time mode. Additionally, certain affiliated colleges, such as Karavali College, offer BSc courses in a part-time mode too. The similarity in both modes is that the course is offered for the duration of three years and divided into six semesters.
