Both the universities are best amongst private universities. Firstly, clear VITJEE conducted by Vellore and Manipal entrance exam.

You can join Btech Aeronautical by applying through the lateral entry pathway. The applications will be available at the Manipal University website soon.

Placements in college is good. A lot of companies come for various branches. There are a lot of options for students. For aeronautical particularly no good technical companies come.

There are barely any placements in core companies for Aeronautical. Other branches it's really good. Aero students tend to get placed in non technical companies.

You need under 2000 rank to get into Computer Science. Mechanical and ECE are one of the best branches.

The fees for Aeronautical is 2.7 lakhs per annum. Companies like Honeywell and Quest global come for placements.

The salary varies from company to company. If you get placed from campus, your initial package will be around 3-7 lakhs.

He needs to give the MUOET exam. The forms come out in the month of January. It's an online exam and has basic Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English question.

How is the faculty & placements for aeronautical engineering branch? Do they get jobs in their industry or those of IT sector?

The faculty is good but the placements not so much. Not many core companies come for placements. A few students choose to get placed in IT companies whereas most of them go for higher studies.
