According to the marks mentioned by you in the question, your rank is expected to be in the range of 229715-244438. There is no doubt in this question that Sinhgad is the best option than D. Y Patil. Sinhgad Vadgaon campus helps in the overall development of the student and the college has a better exposure for the students as considered in the field of placements which matters a lot in the final year. Sinhgad's merit goes a bit higher than D. Y Patil's. Both Sinhgad Vadgaon campus and D. Ys campus are good. Regarding the placement, let's say if you belong to a parent college, placements are combined for all related child colleges, and hence only the eligibility criteria matter. Sinhgad college is better in Placement, Technical and Cultural events.
