At MCET, to take part in the B.E./B.Tech courses, students must have finished their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Though 50% is usually required, the exact mark requirement changes based on both category and the particular course guidelines. Most students gain admission through TNEA counseling which takes into account their results in the qualifying examination.
