1. As you must be preparing for other entrance exams also, try to mix your studies, rather than preparing separately for this exam.
2. Buy sample papers, they are available in various books shops. You can even get them through post.
3. Consult a senior (if you have any), about how she or he prepared for this exam.
4. Initially start studying for 1 hour & gradually increase your study hours.
5. Check out the syllabus given to you for IMU CET 2015 entrance exam.
6. Make short notes & revise them before your exams.
7. For the purpose of General Knowledge, keep a track of the latest news through newspapers & television media.

Most of the institutes/universities in India offer postgraduate course in Oceanography or Marine Biology. The minimum educational qualification for this course is a Bachelors degree in science I.e. B.Sc. either in Zoology / Botany / Chemistry / Fishery Science / Earth Science / Physics / Agriculture / Microbiology / Applied Sciences or in any other equivalent disciplines.
One can also pursue M.Tech in Oceanography or Marine Biology. The minimum qualification is M.Sc and sometime a valid GATE score is essential for admission to this program.
