There is no requirement of special books of PCM for CET preparation as the syllabus is similar to the other Indian engineering entrance examinations. Therefore, one can follow any standard book for engineering preparation available in the market. But I would suggest to build a strong foundation of concepts of PCM as it will help you in the long run. Moreover for the General Aptitude, English and General Knowledge there are plenty of good books available in the market. You may pick RS Aggarwal, General English by Arihant or any other as per your convenience for the first two sections. Please keep in mind that in these sections also the syllabus remains more or less same for any competitive exam e. g. SSC Bank PO etc., so, it depends on the student, how one prepares.

Increase your study time day by day. Do not study whole day for the very first day of your start. Be honest with yourself. It will give you a clear idea about what you have done and what is remaining.
