The placements take place in the 5th,6th and 7th semester in merit Kolkata. You will have NYK ship management come in the 5th semester taking a maximum of 5 cadets and then the real run for placement begins in the 6th and 7th semester. Presently the 6th semester is going on and already 5 companies have visited the college. Fleet management taking 30, great eastern 7 cadets, chelaram and chellship have also recruited cadets. Mitsui is the latest company to visit our college. As far as placements are concerned you need not worry if you have no supplementary papers.
