It's not possible to get admission in any marine engineering colleges in the month of September as maximum colleges begin there session in the first week of August. You can try for august and get admission in the end of July though management quota seat.

Admission in Indian Maritime University for B.Tech in Marine Engineering (Lateral Entry) is done through counseling based on the rank obtained in Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU-CET). Candidate must have studied English with minimum 60% marks in 10/10+2.

Marine Engineering deals with the ins and outs of construction and there after operation and maintenance of the Equipment room of the ship when on boarding. So, the Marine Engineer has to perform the core technical area of the ship on boarding.
