In order to prepare for the mass communication entrance exam, you should refer to these books:
Arihant Mass Communication Journalism Entrance Examination
Mass Communication and Journalism Entrance Examination by Dheeraj Pandey
Guide to Journalism and Mass Communication Entrance Examination by Students Aid Publication
Also, I would suggest you to spend quality time every day at reading journals, magazines, newspapers, etc. And for GK, you can refer Competition Success Review for updates on current affairs.

To get in any degree course 10+2 is mandatory. You can surely enroll for Diploma courses in Media and Journalism from any good university. Every college is different and hence there admission criteria also varies. Please confirm the university name in which you want to enroll or you can also check the eligibility criteria of the course on their official website.

Hi Dilip,
You need to clear your 10+2 first of all in order to be eligible to apply for this course. Once, you have completed your HSC you can apply on the institute's website with the required information. The admission will be based on the marks that you secured in your 12th standard.

Hi,
I am assuming you're implying the subjective questions part with section B. In order to clear the 2nd part of the exam, you should just read newspapers and be aware about the current affairs. Read the editorial section more importantly because you will be given articles to write about the current happenings or trending debatable topics. Also, you should be thorough with all the rules of English grammar and practice sentence corrections, phrasal verbs, idioms, jumbled sentence and vocabulary in order to improve your language and writing skills.
