Typically, the basic eligibility for pursuing a B.A. (Hons) Journalism course is 10+2 qualification. The student should have qualified senior secondary with a minimum of at least 50% marks. Some institutes even conduct entrance tests for this course. Students whose 12th results have been declared or who are awaiting their results can fill the application forms for the course. After the submission of the application form, most institutes conduct a written test (objective and/or subjective type) which is usually followed by a personal Interview. The final selection of candidates for admission is based on the performance in written test, interview and marks scored in Grade 12. Also, look at the option of B.A. (Hons) Journalism, Media and Communication as that provides aspirants with knowledge about various journalistic skills in mass media such as newspapers, television, radio, internet, etc. It is a holistic course and so a good option to consider.
