Yes, it is always good to pursue Journalism studies after 12th itself. AFCOS IIMCs are good without any doubt but there are few other institutes across the country which are equally good as IIMC's. Few things you should keep on your mind prior to proceed for Journalism degree.
Do they have an experienced faculty (Faculty must have expertise in theory and practical both). Do they have Adequate/appropriate equipment to make you expert in handling them? Do they have Audio/Video studio to teach them practically. Are they running any Media house? Do they provide the platform to you for doing practices? Do they have such atmosphere where you can have an experience to perform practically? Do they have Industrial Tie Ups? Do they provide Teachings from external experts?
