Hi,
After 12th, you can take admission through entrance or direct procedure. Because few institutes take entrance for the admission but few institute give admission on merit basis as per 12th marks. It totally depends on the institute you want to apply for.

Hi Asim,
JMI Entrance is not so difficult, it is upto the level of board exams if you leave long answer type questions. If you have gone through your 11th and 12th seriously then I am 100% sure that you can crack the entrance. It requires understanding of each single topic. Go through previous years' papers in order to understand the types of question asked.

Although, it's not a good option to choose the distance and open learning. But if you are working in the same industry or pursuing another short-term course then it's not a bad idea to choose the same.

As you are yet to complete your school education, you do have a chance to do some study of Mass Media-Event Management even in class 12th. You can opt for media studies (optional elective) as well. If that is not the choice possible or available, you can do a degree in event management and PR. Symbiosis or Mudra-Pune and Amity-Noida are good names for such professional pursuits. If you do a degree in Mass Media, a PG Diploma in PR and Event Management is also possible. The PG Diploma studies can be done from IIMC-Delhi as well.

Yes, government universities, as well as private universities, offer distance learning courses. You can choose from your own state or as per your choice. Just check whether that university offers the course you want to do. I shall suggest that you do a degree or PG Diploma in the emerging domain of Mass Communication and Media Studies that enhance your career and specialised skills as well.
