Hi Sai,
Certificates are generally different than diplomas - first these are short term courses (sometimes hourly) and also because they are given out to students who have passed a particular course of study not necessarily related to high school graduation requirements.
Diploma programs offer a more in-depth curriculum than a certificate, they are for a longer period depending on the course. But they are not at par with the degree.
Now coming to FTI Hyderabad - Certificate course is for 60 hours whereas Diploma is a 3 months course in Acting course.

You can take admission in St. Xavier's for BM by writing an entrance exam.

It's not difficult, but there are less seats as compared to other courses and also admissions are based on a combination of entrance test+merit.

Xavier's doesn't offer any such BA course, you can try for BM. It has a similar course patten.
