The cheapest institutions are always public / government institutions. Colleges in Delhi University would be perfect for you from the financial point of view as well as the quality of education.The second option would be getting good grades and opting for various private and government scholarships.

As per your background, I would suggest you opt for M.Sc in Biotechnology, whereas, it completely depends upon your interest. I have one of my classmate who did Bachelors in Biotechnology with me and then moved on for Mass communication for Master's degree because of his interest.

Hi,
After 12th, you can take admission through entrance or direct procedure. Because few institutes take entrance for the admission but few institute give admission on merit basis as per 12th marks. It totally depends on the institute you want to apply for.

Hi, if you want to prepare for entrance exam of IIMC and other ones then you should read the newspaper daily and be aware of the current affairs and issues. Secondly, you should know about the different media, their current scenario and historical pattern etc. You must be updated with current affairs, new happenings, political, economic beats etc. You must also have a good writing skill in order to be eligible for the written test and must read the newspaper daily. As such there is no age criteria for admission in visual communication, but yes, you have to be atleast 12th passed so as to understand the fundamentals of visual communication better.
