International students are required to meet certain admission requirements for Engineering courses at MIT. 

MIT admissions generally require a strong academic record (including math and science), standardized test scores (SAT/ACT for undergrad; GRE optional for most graduation programs), English proficiency (TOEFL/IELTS), letters of recommendation, transcripts, and compelling essays or statements of purpose for both undergraduate and graduate admissions.

There are over two dozen Engineering courses offered under MIT School of Engineering with a variety of specialisations such as Health, Robotics, and Energy.  The aforementioned courses are offline courses, MIT also offers a vast selection of free online courses through its OpenCourseWare (OCW) initiative. 

There are over 2,500 online courses available at this university which covers the entire MIT curriculum. These courses have lecture notes, exams, videos and more. The student can download them offline on the go.
