Yes, Ashoka University provides quality education to postgrad students. However new, the university has garnered quite some popularity in a short span. It is UGC and ACU affiliated. The faculty at the university also have a number of renowned awards under their belts including a Pfizer in the Groundbreaking Book category. Their masters' programmes include -

Admission into Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology, SCET for undergraduate courses shall be based upon the eligibility criteria set up by Kerala State Government and the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, KTU. For admission you have to apply on the website and appear for entrance examination.
A pass in II PUC/Intermediate/10+2 or any other equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology/Electronics as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study with an minimum aggregate of 45% marks in the optional subjects (40% of marks for SC.ST.CAT-1 and OBC category).

The eligibility for admission in VIPS - Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies for:
UG Courses (BBA, BCA, BJMC): Eligibility: 12th pass, BJMC needs 50%+.

Yes there are several Scholarship programmes for PG courses at Institute of Management in Kerala, University of Kerala. But the main point is that most of the Scholarship opportunities are only for the students of the reserved categories like SC and ST category. No, you cannot take admission in The VFX Institute for the Masters Program in Graphic Design without an exam. The Institute conducts in-house entrance exam, namely MECAT.
