Department of Studies and Research in Law is entrance based. The student needs to have a valid score in CET to get admission in the college. However, selection for BA LLB programme is merit-based.

For BA LLB, the student should pass Class 12 with an aggregate of 45% in relevant subjects. For LLM, a graduation degree in the relevant field. Getting into Shri Bhawani Niketan Mahila P.G. Mahavidyalaya can be tough or easy depending on the candidate's performance in qualifying exams such as Class 12 for UG admissions and the Bachelor's degree marks for PG admissions.
