Of course not. You can pursue an MSc or even an MCom in Economics. But for that, you need to be from a Science or Commerce background. For an MA in Economics, you can be from any stream with the Economics subject.

Yes, to apply for the University College Dublin admissions, a UG degree is required with a really good GPA. This bachelor's degree should be relevant and valid. Look at the PG admission requirements for UCD courses given below -
· A bachelor's degree at second class honors, grade one (2:1), or equivalent

No, the syllabus is different for every PG course. Each subject like Economics, Physics, Literature, or Sociology has its own separate syllabus.

For PG courses, the syllabus is mainly based on your graduation subjects. Questions are asked from core topics you studied during your undergraduate degree.

Yes. DMET, UP released round-3 seat allotment result for UP NET PG 2025 counselling on February 16, 2026. Seat allotment result PDF was uploaded online in PDF format and students will have to download it. Registration for round-3 counselling had to be completed till February 5, 2026.

Pune University releases the cutoff in the form of opening and closing percentages. According to the Pune University cutoff 2022, the range stood between 36.5 and 80 percentage. Students faced the most competiton for admission to the MA in English course, followed by Master of Arts (Journalism and Mass Communication), with the last round cutoff percentage being 80 and 78.75, respectively.
