MAT

The final admission list of the institutes is made on the basis of candidates performance in the various selection rounds of MAT selection procedure. The MAT selection process usually comprises of shortlisting of candidates based on their MAT score after applying the cut-off, conducting the Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds. The candidates obtaining the required cutoff scores are eligible for the pre-admission rounds of the Institutes. The final selection or the final result will be based on the candidate's overall performance in the MAT and GD/PI rounds. You don't need to apply they will call you on the basis of your marks.

Regular candidates should possess a valid score in the Common Admissions Test (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management. IIT graduates who obtained a CGPA of 8 and above on 10 are exempted from CAT score. Their shortlisting will be based on a composite score with due weights to applicants CAT score, past academic performance, industry experience and gender.
Sponsored Candidates
This category is of two types: a) Company Sponsored Candidates b) Indian Defense Personnel
a) Candidates may be sponsored by their employers to pursue an MBA at IIT-Madras. Candidates should forward their application through proper channel. They must have a minimum work experience of two years in the sponsoring organization and a valid CAT score.
b) Defense personnel are exempted from the national level entrance test. Candidates who are working with the Defense forces are encouraged to apply through respective government agencies.
Non-Resident Indian and Foreign Nationals

They also have to submit copies of their citizenship-related documents obtained from the Indian Embassy of their residing country while applying for the programme.
Minimum Academic Qualifications for Regular/Sponsored/NRI & Foreign Candidates
Graduates (or professional qualification equivalent to that of a university degree recognized by the UGC) in any discipline with first class or 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) earned in their degree from a recognized/reputed University for regular candidates, sponsored candidates, NRI candidates and foreign nationals. For Defence personnel, the minimum percentage of marks in qualifying degree will be 55%. For other categories, relaxation according to GOI norms will apply.
Final year students (of the above-mentioned programme) are also eligible to apply. Such candidates, if selected, will be admitted provisionally, on the condition that they meet all requirements for the qualifying degree before the start of the program and will produce the provisional certificate of completion within two months of joining the program.

A composite score of 600 or above in the Management Aptitude Test MAT conducted by AIMA in either September / December 2017 / February 2018. (or) A composite score of 450 or above in GMAT 2017 / 2018. A composite score of 300 or above in GRE 2017 / 2018. 70 percentile or above in Common Management Admission Test CMAT January 2018). 70 percentile or above in Common Admission Test 2017 CAT conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). 70 percentile or above in Xavier Aptitude Test XAT 2018). One year work experience (full-time/ part-time/ family business also considered) for candidates applying for the dual degree PGDM (CU)+MBA, (FHWS, Germany) Programme (mandatory). (And) 50% or above marks in aggregate in the undergraduate examinations. (Applicants who are in the final year of their studies should have 50% or above aggregate in all the semesters/years of undergraduate examinations conducted so far). Students writing their final degree examinations during March-May 2018 are also eligible to apply. Minimum Score specified for MAT/CAT/CMAT/XAT/ATMA/GMAT is only an eligibility criteria and the actual score thereof shall have no bearing in the selection process. Yes, you can apply.

Gems B School, Bangalore, Vasanth Nagar for the first 12 months, on one hand, students will study on Saturdays & Sundays in GEMS B School Bangalore & on the other will work from Monday to Friday in some companies for which they will be paid. In the last 6 months, students will study in the University of Sunderland, London & get a paid part-time job in London at the end of the course (after 18 Months) get a full-time International MBA from University of Sunderland London with 18 months of work experience. You must look for the college which has the good set of faculty members because after all, the skills development, it is the subject that will fetch you a job, in the end, it doesn't mean that other aspects are to be neglected but basics of the subject is necessary. The return on the fees that you invest must be good, which means the average placement package should be near to the fees you pay to the college if it is more than it is most preferred. All these factors are to be primarily considered while selecting a college, others being the secondary as to the infrastructure, hostel facilities, etc.
