I feel that it is very difficult and requires a great deal of passion to get into IIT, and I think it's better to take IIT courses outside of IIT so you can gain some knowledge as well. There are some books by RD Sharma in which he provided a brief explanation about mathematics and concepts. So good

It is not even possible to learn math without practise, in my opinion. Instead of reading the questions, spend time practising them thoroughly. Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you,

Prepare your time table according to your daily routine and give equal amount of time to both subjects ( atleast 2 hours).
Start solving questions of NCERT BOOKS and then refer to other reference books like HC VERMA for Physics and RD SHARMA, ARIHANT for Mathematics.
