Eligibility Of the Master of Computer Applications [M.C.A]
Graduation in any stream is the basic eligibility for MCA. The eligibility for qualifying marks in graduation differs from institute to institute. Most of the institutes require 45 to 50 % aggregate in qualifying exam for taking admission. Reserved categories get some relaxation in aggregate percentage.
Apart from this there is another prerequisite for taking admission in MCA degree; one must have studied Mathematics in 10+2 as a compulsory subject.
How to Get Admission in Master of Computer Applications [M.C.A]
Admission to MCA can be obtained either on the basis of entrance exams or directly on qualifying exam merit basis. Following are the general ways of admission in MCA program
Direct Admission- Direct admissions are done on the basis of merit in qualifying exam. Some institutes also provide admission on management quota, which is also way of direct admission. Management quota seats in every college are reserved. Fee is generally higher for these seats than general seats.
Entrance Test- After taking entrance test conducted by various universities, qualified students are called for counselling. Counselling is conducted for seat allotment in various colleges under that university. Admission is done after allotment of seat in counselling.

Eligibility for BBA Course
Interested aspirants for the course need to fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria.
Completion of HSC (10+2 level) from a recognized educational board
English as one of the subjects at HSC
Minimum aggregate score of 50% to 60% at 10+2 level of education
Students who have appeared in HSC examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply.
Master of Commerce (M.Com) Eligibility
For admission to M.Com. Program, students must fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria.
Bachelors degree in Commerce
Minimum 50% marks at the level of graduation
Certain universities also admit students with a B.A. Economics (Hons.) degree
Students who have passed B.B.S., B.B.A., B.F.I.A. and B.B.E. with at least 60% marks can also apply.

BCA Eligibility
Candidates who wish to pursue BCA course must fulfill the below mentioned eligibility criteria.
Pass in 10+2 examination in any stream from a recognized board of education.
English as a subject of study.
A minimum aggregate score of 45% at 10+2 level.
Some colleges prefer students from Science stream or those who have studied Mathematics and Computer Science at 10+2 level.
BCA Admission
For admission to BCA course, a student must fulfill the basic eligibility criteria as mentioned above. Admission to regular BCA course is generally done through a common entrance test conducted by respective universities. IPU-CET, SET are a few entrance tests conducted by some top institutes for providing admission to the course.
Application process for BCA entrance test usually starts in the month of May and June. Students have to apply to respective institutes in both online as well as offline modes.
BCA Selection Process
The selection for admission to BCA is generally based on the performance in the written test. Certain universities like the Christ University, Bangalore, also conduct a personal interview for selection to the program. The final selection is based on the cumulative performance in written test, personal interview and qualifying examination. There are certain colleges like BIT Mesra, Amity University etc. which take admission purely on the basis of marks scored in the 10+2 examination.

Most specializations in Chemistry or Maths are done through B.Sc. courses which are 3 year courses. If you are interested in 4 year courses you should opt for B.Tech courses in chemical engineering or applied Mathematics. Mathematics in Chartered Accountancy course is required during your CPT or the foundation course as per the revised scheme. As a student of CA, you need to clear it. If you are very well determined and want to add the initials-CA before your name then, definitely yes, you will have to study Mathematics. However, the best part is that you can get the blueprint of the examination in order to understand the marks bifurcation. You just need to plan accordingly. See and analyse as to which chapters make the most of the marks into your syllabus and which you find easy. Go for the easy ones first and grab a good hold over them. Once they are done and you are confident, then go for the tough chapters. However, be in regular practice with the easy ones as well. If you plan up your studies in this manner, I am sure you will be able to clear the subject in one go. Once it is cleared, your self-confidence about mathematics will boost and the feeling that you are not good in mathematics will disappear.
