ISRO required specialists in different fields. You imagine rockets and satellites. Whatever goes into them and whatever enables launch. Varied fields means varied specialists. Chemical, materials, physics, etc.

I hope you are doing good.
At first, you have to ask urself what you want to do further after taking science. You must have some particular vision, for example, if you can see yourself as a mechanical or computer science engineer or imagine urself as architect or as a teacher than it's great but if you have not thought it then start to think like this
I might face some difficulties. It will happen to everyone so don't be afraid, but you persevere then no doubt you will definitely do justice with science, don't only depend on tutions but have your own winning strategy.

Check out SK Jain and Iyengar and B's Grewal. These books are used by most IITs and NITs, go through them. Hope this got cleared up, good luck! Even I use these as they have a very good scope, good luck!
