Hello Prince,
There is no choice given to you for appearing in Maths papers. You can appear for Paper 1 if interested in getting admission into BE / B.Tech courses or appear for Paper 2 if you want to get into architecture. You, of course, have a choice of appearing for both papers. Paper 2 has three parts & one of the part is Maths. But opting for Paper2 & appearing only in Maths will serve no purpose. My advice, depending on where you want to go appear for either paper 1 or 2.
Best wishes.

Hi,
As per your query you need to check your caliber and time management. Most of the students do like that and especially, maths and statistics honors programme gives lot of support in terms of studies and subjects as well.

Yes, basically CAT tests matriculation level mathematics with just a few exceptions. Hence a strong grip until matriculation maths will help you crack CAT mathematics comfortably. Just practice will be critical.

Mathematics is not as important as an individual subject in finance education. But, in the background it does play an important role for understanding some of the useful concepts in finance management. An inclination towards learning mathematics and some elementary knowledge of mathematics would be sufficient for you.

Hope this helps!!!
