Not necessary Varsha. I.e not necessary to have Maths as one of your subjects. For IAS you need to appear in the UPSC exam prelims first, for which you need to be a graduate and in the age bracket of 21 to 30 years (for general category of candidates)

If you have got any compart . you need to pass your plus 2 exams without any cross in any subject. so I think that you should not take admission in any college yet. Firstly gear yourself to study twelve class basics thoroughly and after one year fill the form of college of law and exam of law such as clat, lsat , ailet, dullb to prepare for law you can get enrolled yourself in best coaching near your home and try to study as more as you can . Best of luck .

Eligibility criteria varies from university to university. Some, like University of Hyderabad, demand a degree in economics to apply for a master's degree while other colleges like DSE & UPES also lets B.com graduates and people with Maths, Statistics etc. to sit for the entrance. DSE and UPES are best bet open for you for MA Economics. Both of these are very good for Economics. This year 100 % batch got placed through campus recruitment in UPES. You can visit websites of respective universities and get the details about exams, eligibility and test dates and apply for the same.
