Below is the eligibility criteria for NDA.
For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equilvalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply.

You can start preparing for upsc even now as you need to know your subject from class 6 onwards. Just read the interview of this year topper who cleared it in the first attempt after her graduation. The point is to study consistently and persistently. Each one of us have their own learning style so you must know that to get the optimum benefit. Start with a sample paper to know your level and then work on understanding the concepts.

Normally ever university require 12th with maths and nata score too if that university or college affiliated to council of architecture.
