Top colleges/universities in Punjab that offer B.Sc Hons Maths are:

Most colleges accept CUET UG or conduct their own entrance exams eligibilty with 10+2 with mathematics as subject with minimum 50 to 60%

In the case of DU through CUET, the merit and eligibility of candidates will not be directly influenced by the performance in the 6th additional subject (Math) even at the Class 12 level so long as you meet the mandated CUET subject combination rules, applicable to your DU programme of choice. The DU assigns the merit in accordance to your CUET marks in the specified subjects of a given course, which need not be either your overall Class 12 score, or the marks of other subjects. As your son has opted for PCB with applied Maths so he is eligible for engineering courses like B.Tech in Biotechnology, Biomedical, or Environmental Engineering, and in some private colleges, a CS specialisation in BIO/Health Informatics. These match well with his PCB +math subject combo and have reasonable fee options.
