For mathematics, practice is very important. And for that, you need to have a strong base and the formulae on your fingertips. For that, NCERT books would be useful at the early stage. Then, you may prefer the Arihant series for practice which would contain the questions of JEE standard. Tata Mcgraw Hill is another useful book which is preferred for many competitive exams. Using these books, you can perform well in the math section of JEE. All the best.

Hello Dear, Recruitment for IAS and other all India Services is done through UPSC civil service examination. For UPSC you need to be a graduate in any streams from UGC recognised institutions. Mathematics is not an issue. I hope you got the hint.
