Hi, Yes, for Economics(H) from DU you should have Maths till 12th class but it is not necessary to include it in 'Best Four Subjects' (BFS). You should have Maths either as an optional subject (5th subject) or as an additional subject (6th subject). Economics definitely should be included in BFS els

For which college you are asking? Firstly, you have to clear your math exam then only you can take admission in college and for PCM means, your college only consider physics, chemistry, maths, marks for admission so according to me you can't get admission without clearing your maths exam.

You can't do B.A economics from DU because you don't have maths in your class 12th. Including maths in your best four is not important but passing in that subject is important. However, you can do B.A in economics from Loyola College without maths, but it doesn't provide a honors degree.

Making amendments in its admission policy, DU had last month announced that it will be compulsory for admission seekers to B.Com (Hons) courses and Economics (Hons) to have studied Maths in class XII.

Hi Paramita,
As you are applying for distance, then yes you can go for distance. If you had said for regular one, as your marks are low, as there should be minimum 50%. But, as you are choosing distance, then whichever university you are choosing, if it is UGC recognized and you can fill the form eit
