Yes, you can surely opt for teaching Maths as a career. However, with a B.Tech/M.Tech degree, you can't teach Maths to post-secondary (after class 12th) students. In order to do so, you have to pursue M.Sc. In mathematics or you can even go for Ph.D. and end up being a professor teaching engineering undergrads.
