Yes, maths is a compulsory subject in 12th science. There are in total 5 subjects in 12th. Those are physics, chemistry, match's, English and the 5th one is optional; either you can take computers or physical education.

North campus colleges generally have a greater percentage cutoff and that also depends on the course which you want to take admission in. You can try for south campus colleges. They are also pretty good. Otherwise, you can keep a check on merit list as colleges release a number of lists and each list has a lower percentage than the previous one.

Yes, you can. I myself had this combination of subjects in my 11th and 12th. I have completed my Bachelors in microbiology from Calcutta University and am now pursuing my masters in the same from BHU. Just make sure that you score well in order to get yourself enrolled in a prestigious institution.
