The official brochure states the following eligibility criteria of TANCET MBA 2018:
Must hold a Bachelors degree of minimum three years duration from a recognised institution. A prospective test taker must have a minimum 50 percent of marks (45 per cent for reserved category) at the graduation level to be able to apply for the TANCET 2018 exam. Candidates must be native residents of Tamil Nadu state. However, candidates from other states can appear for the entrance exam, but the eligibility criteria will be fixed by the conducting authority or University. Candidates with B.E. /B.Tech. Degrees obtained through Distance / Weekend mode are not eligible. Candidates with degree obtained without studying 10th, 12th standard. Or three years degree programme will not be considered eligible for the entrance examination.

2. Biophysics: Biophysicist is a major in physics, chemistry or mathematics, together with courses in biology. He can proceed to a graduate school biophysics specialisation.
3. Bioengineering : Bioengineers analyze biological processes and medical problems using engineering principles. They design medical and other scientific instruments, artificial hearts and limbs, and micro laser systems that are used in eye surgery.
4. Astrobiology is the Science of life in the universe through the search for habitable environments in the solar system and planets outside it. Thanks!
