Yes, except for arts subjects like English, Hindi, Maths is compulsory. Yes, for admission in B.Com or BBA or any Science stream. However, in mass communication and B.M.M, you don't need maths.

For UGC NET, you have to apply in the same subject you have done your Post Graduation. In your case it will be Maths.

Yes, Maths is necessary and it is in the syllabus of BJMC prescribed by IP university as Maths related to other subjects directly and indirectly. So, you should focus on mathematics as one of your strong subjects.

Yes, you are eligible.
The eligibility is Bachelors degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/ Physics/ Statistics /Electronics or equivalent examination with at least 45% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
B.Tech./BE degree holders in Computer Science/Informational Technology are also eligible for M.Sc. IT course.

I think, you can do BBA instead BCA why you don't have a mathematical background but in BCA mathematics is important.

Listen! I am currently pursuing IT in 3rd year. As long as I know, you should have maths in your 12th exam. But still, you can apply for BCA as you can't enroll in the engineering.
