Admission to MBA is based on CAT, CMAT or KMAT score. The shortlisted candidates are called for GDPI round. Candidates are given a topic of current relevance and are asked to present his/her views on the topic individually and in a group. The objective of GD is to test the knowledge, attitude, communication skills, leadership qualities, etc. of the participating candidates. After attending the group discussion, candidates need to appear for a personal interview with HR experts. The aptitude, attitude, managerial potential, etc. of the aspirants are assessed at this stage. On completion of the personal interview, a rank list is prepared

Admission to MBA is based on CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ XAT/ ATMA score. After completion of the selection round, candidates need to come for OJEE Counselling for final admission.

Eligibility criteria for MBA at IMT Hyderabad are:
- The candidate should have atleast 50% aggregate in undergraduation.
 - A candidate should clear the cut offs in entrance exams like CAT/XAT/CMAT.
 - Admission to IMT Hyderabad is entrance based.
