MBA Eligibility

Well, it is not a rocket Science, if you are considering to pursue hotel management, as your degree or Diploma course, you would just need to be an intermediate holder. That means, if you've passed your class 12th, then you are simple eligible for doing the course. It doesn't matter that from which stream you've passed it, or from which school you have cleared your class 12th. Having said this, many people does it after their regular graduation as well, like after completing their BA/B.Sc etc. There is no harm in it as well, but if you are already a graduate, then I would encourage you to pursue Masters in hotel management as MHM, instead doing BHM which is just a graduation. Also before jumping to any decision to select hotel management as a career option, it is always advised to analyses pros and cons, growth prospects, matching of work-profile with personality traits, etc. If the candidate is not willing to work in various profiles he may not be suitable for it as in hotel management an employee may be asked to work in management, food and beverage service, housekeeping, front office operation, sales and marketing, accounting or any other department depending upon the specific requirement. Eligibility in India:
For MBA, the candidate should fulfil the following eligibility criteria: Passed with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate ( 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only) in any full-time Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities.

Appeared for the final year examination of any full-time Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities. Such candidates can be considered for provisional admission subject to passing the degree exam with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only).
Abroad:
The two primary exams are GMAT and GRE. Traditionally, GRE was more popular among MS applicants and GMAT was the de facto standard for MBA courses. However, things are changing and many MBA universities have also started accepting GRE scores.
