Sorry, you can't take admission in MBA after securing 40%. A candidate holding a graduate degree (at least of three years duration) or post-graduate degree of the University or of any other University recognized to be equivalent thereto by the University with at least 50% of Marks (45 % in case of SC, ST and OBC candidates) in aggregate in the Faculty of either Engineering, Medical Science,Agriculture, Social Science, Commerce, Arts, Life science, Hotel Management, shall be eligible for application for admission to MBA course: Provided that the following examinations shall not be taken as basic degree for application for admission t

CAT really requires a very hard work, as well as all about your personality and how you present yourself. Both are good stream, MBA as well as CS. It depends upon your interest, find out your weakness and work on it accordingly, and it doesn't mean you are an average student. Many students with less than 70% marks crack CAT and CS.

CAT 2017 will be conducted in Dec. 2017 and online application process will start in Aug. 2017. You are advised to look for advertisement in leading newspaper in Jul.-Aug.

Dear,
The last year's cut-off for admission to IIFT 2016-18 batch were between 38-45, which varied according to the analysis of different experts. The IIFT 2016 cutoff depends on exam pattern and difficulty level of the exam. Hence, it is expected that the IIFT 2016 cutoff would be around 40-45. It is equally good as IIFT Kolkata.
