No, you can get admission with MAT and XAT also but yes for other related government benefit you have to appear for CET.

You need to appear for MICAT in addition to CAT/XAT/GMAT as these are the only exams that are accepted.

You should opt for BBA or BBM instead of B.Com after completing class 12th. After completing you Bachelor's degree, you can pursue MBA, MBM, MCA, MFM, MPM, PGDCA, etc. If you want to pursue MBA then you need to appear for CAT, MAT, XAT, SNAP, CET, etc.
