The best colleges would like you to register with them separately after filling up CAT form. Check their past record and score which they consider for selection. If you satisfy their criteria, then you get selected.

You can go for TIME or IMS. They both have a pan India presence with good faculty, study material and they will also help you in preparing for WAT/ PI and Group Discussion of colleges after your results.

Great Lakes - Chennai does not have management quota seats and admission is strictly offered on merit basis. It will be very difficult to get a call for WAT/ PI with 85percentile in CMAT. You will need more than 95 percentile in CMAT to get a call.

No, if you are from general category, you should not apply for it as the cut-off will be very high. You can try for ITM Mumbai, Christ University-Bangalore, Alliance University-Bangalore, NIA Pune, SIES-Mumbai and Welingkar-Mumbai.
