You have a decent percentile. NPTI is a good institute but it won't boost your profile. NPTI students have got 100% placements but their average package is 5.5 lakhs. It would be better to do energy management from a good business school.

Different colleges give different preferences, usually it varies between 10-25 percentage along with that your work experience may be given some preference.

You can try in Christ College, Bangalore. You should appear for MAT and PGCET exams in order to get concession in the fees. These exams are accepted only in Karnataka state. Don't lose hope.

I request you to specify that in which exam you scored 75 percentile. If you have scored 75 percentile in CAT then you have a lot of options like PIBM, NDIM, Asia Pacific Institute of Management, MIT Pune, JIMS, etc.
