No, at 158, there is no chance of admission at NMIMS. I would suggest you to prepare better and give it a go again.

To prepare for MAT you can refer books of CAT by Arun Sharma for logical reasoning, reading comprehension and data interpretation. For quantitative aptitude I suggest Sarvesh K Verma's book.

There are very less number of colleges which accept that score. Most of the colleges have cut off of at least 60, so I suggest you better appear for some other exam.

The average salary is around 5 lakhs and if you choose marketing, you will receive 100 percent placement. MAT composite score for PSGIM is above 600.

Yes, of course. It is not necessary to have work experience to get admission into MBA colleges. There are many aspirants who apply for MBA colleges without work experience. Weightage of work experience is low at most IIMs.Good luck!

You are eligible to get into the college. It is not necessary that you need to apply with CAT percentile. You can apply with CMAT, MAT or any other MBA entrance exam.

Nothing can be predicted beforehand about the no. of questions and/or a score that can fetch you 99 percentile. Percentile is a relative term, which depends upon how the exam is, how the other test-takers have fared in it and how many easy-tricky-difficult questions you've attempted. So, since there isn't any fixed number, it can be anything between 45-70+ questions.
