CAT, MAT, XAT, SNAP, and NMAT are few of them.
Almost all the colleges accept MAT except IIMs, Xavier's, Symbiosis, and NMIMS. You need to qualify entrance exams like CAT, XAT, SNAP, or NMAT to get admission in IIMs, Xavier's, Symbiosis and NMIMS.
MAT is enough if you wish to apply for other good colleges.

You need to sit for CMAT exam and then WBJEMAT exam in order to clear formalities to enter Heritage Business School. This is in addition to your academic results. Please come and meet the authorities in case you have any particular questions.

So don't worry about 1st-year marks, you can improve it in coming years if you put some effort.
For CAT or other management exams, degree marks are not considered. You can attend it, but it is up to the college where you take the admission, marks are compulsory or not.
