Nehru Institute of Technology (NIT) Coimbatore does not accept CAT scores for its admission process. The institution uses TANCET scores for its management program. For the B.Tech program, the cutoff score varies each year, and the last round closing rank was 39584 for B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence in 2023. CAT is not a mandatory requirement for admission to the MBA programme at PSG Institute of Advanced Studies (PSGIAS). The institute accepts other entrance exams such as MAT, ATMA, and TANCET for the selection process. Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% marks are eligible to apply for the program. The final selection is based on academic performance, entrance exam scores, group discussion, and personal interview. Therefore, while CAT is accepted, it is not a mandatory requirement for admission to the MBA programme at PSGIAS
