While having a 70% score in MAT is a positive factor, admission to VELS Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies (VISTAS) also depends on your overall academic performance. The institute requires a minimum aggregate of 50% in your 10+2 or bachelor's degree. For the MBA program, a bachelor's degree with a minimum 50% aggregate is essential. While a 70% MAT score is promising, it's crucial to emphasize a well-rounded application, including a strong academic background and performance in group discussions and personal interviews, which can compensate for a lower percentile in MAT.
