With more than 2 Lacs aspirants every year, CAT Examination is definitely somewhat difficult than other MBA entrance examinations. The reason being the syllabus and examination pattern. There is sectional timing as well as negative marking of -1 for each wrong answer. CAT has a moderate level of difficulty in it's questions. 

There are three sections in the CAT Entrance Examination - 

•Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VA & RC).

•Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation (DI & LR).

•Quantitative Ability (QA).

One of the best reasons why MAT is considered as easy compared to other MBA entrance examination is the number of attempts, there is no limit on the number of attempts for this examination. MAT is conducted four times in an year through different modes.

However, each attempt will require a new application along with a new fees.

Yes, MAT is easier than other MBA entrance examinations in many aspects. The questions range from easy to moderate level in terms of difficulty hence making it easy for most candidates. There is no sectional time limit, it depends upon the candidates to choose how much they want to spend on a particular section. The former is conducted four times an year, making it more easy for candidates to learn from their mistakes. There is no number of compulsory questions, out of 200 questions, candidates can choose as much as they wish to.

Other than CAT, IIM Jammu also accepts GMAT/ GRE/ IIMJAT entrance exam scores for admission to the EMBA course. Interested candidates need to prepare and score well in any of the aforementioned entrance exams to get shortlisted for the further rounds of selection.

Yes, one can easily secure a seat in IIFT Kolkata as the cutoff in CAT for the college is about 60 percentile.

The student must also be with minimum of 50 percent aggregation in the under graduation course for the admission in the college.

Apart from GAT, NIFT also tests its candidates with a Creative Ability Test (CAT ) to test their creative skills, concept observation skills and illustrations based drawings and designs. This exam is conducted through offline pen and paper mode. Candidates will be given 180 minutes (3 hours) for this colour and drawing based examination. 

A candidate not appearing in this examination, will not have access to situation test for B.Des or M.Des.

For the admission into the IIFT Kolkata. An entrance exam is conducted by the NTA which is IIFT entrance test, which is as tough as the CAT examination. The CAT percentile required is about 60 for the admission in IIFT Kolkata.

The students must be with the aggregation of about 50 percentage in the under graduation.

Yes, You can get into RICSe School of Built Environment with 70% In MAT . It's also varies with different percentile on every year according to the trend . And if I talk about the other Examinations like - 

  1. CAT ( Percentile ) - 70% ( Cut-off)
  2. NMAT Score- 140
