The required CAT score for admission to the MBA programme at IIT Bombay was in the 90th percentile. This cutoff was used to shortlist candidates for the admissions selection process. The final cutoff for admission was around the 98.5 percentile. The final cutoff weightage is 70% from the CAT 5% from the 12th grade, 5% from graduation, 5% from post-graduation, and 10% from gender diversity. For entry into MBA executive programs, the IIT B CAT cutoff score was 97.5 percentile.

You should have obtained a minimum sectional percentile of 80 in every one of the three sections of CAT- Quantitative Aptitude (QA), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC). You should have secured a minimum overall percentile of 90 in CAT. General- 94.6, OBC- 90, SC- 82, ST- 74
