Hi, In order to take admission in MBA the eligibility criteria needs to be MET in LPU. The eligibility is 55% + LPUNEST/CAT/MAT/XAT/NMAT/CMAT+ Interview or Completed Company Secretary CS from Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or Completed Chartered Accountancy CA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or Completed Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI). Let me share with you interview competencies that are tested as part of MBA interviews in LPU. The various parameters includes Fluency, Grammatical errors, elaboration of the concept, Clarity in thought process, Confidence, General Awareness, and leadership quality. In LPU when you sit for an MBA interview there are 2 panelists one from the core domain and the other from soft skills to assess you on speaking skills. Both the panelists will be rating you on the competency and a score will be generated. On the basis of the cut-off score only you will be considered as qualified or not. Hence, whatever is the specialisation that you are wishing to opt for the faculty of the core domain will be checking you on that and keeping in mind the above competencies stated. And Yes, you will be checked about the General Awareness so you need to keep yourself up to date. You will be asked questions related to your graduation degree and what made you go for MBA as well. So, kindly prepare the justification for that. So, all the best. Stay confident and answer the questions logically keeping the above-stated factors in mind. Minimum eligibility to apply for PGDCBM is having Bachelors degree with minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial capacity. Shortlisting of candidates for PGDM-ABM will be done on the basis of CAT / MAT / XAT / ATMA /CMAT / GMAT scores with minimum aggregate of 50% marks in graduation. Graduate and professionals can join the DMCO programme with a minimum of 3 years experience in the IT field. Candidates applying for Executive PGDM programme must have a minimum of 5 years of experience and have either of CAT / MAT / XAT / ATMA /CMAT / GMAT test score. The final selection in each programme will be based upon scores in the entrance, group discussion as well as personal interview. The online application fee for the programme (s) is INR 500. The last date of online application submission for PGDCMB is August, PGDM ABM is March, Executive PGDM is August. Candidate must have graduated from a recognised university/institute that's affiliated to a recognised board with 15 years of education full time (10+2+3). General/OBC (Non creamy)/EWS candidate must have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in graduation and 45% for SC/ST candidates. Recent valid admission test scores will be accepted. Candidates graduation marks will be converted into percentage according to the candidates affiliated university rules of grade point-percentage conversion. Final year graduate students can also apply, provided they have to submit their final aggregate score CGPA/Percentage by August. Foreign national can also apply by their respective GMAT/GRE scores. Reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC-NC (Non-Creamy) and PwD candidates has been made according to the rules of government of India.
