IIM uses a special formula to shortlist candidate based on CATscore, 10th, 12th & graduation marks. Your academic record is decent to get shortlisted for IIM A, B, C, L & I. CAT cutt off trend for last few year for IIM A is around 99%. The same score is needed for FMS & PUMBA. Also you can try to make your profile stronger by doing relevant value added courses, extra curricular achievement.

You will need a high CAT score. Anything above 99% would be good to have bright chances. Also it depend on 10th, 12th marks & GD/PI. So you will need a minimum 1 year of serious CAT preparation. With a score range of 97-99 you can also try newly opened IIM, XLRI, DMS IIT, KJ Somaiya, PUMBA, GIM, NIBM, NIT Trichy etc.

Hello Priyadarshan. Congrats for a good score in CMAT. Check out Thiagarajar School of Management (TSM), Madurai. It is one of the reputed B-Schools in South India, having a legacy of around 58 years. You are eligible to apply to TSM for admission. Since you have scored well in CMAT.
