PIBM accepts CAT, XAT,CMAT, MAT, MH-CET scores. In case if the student has scored less than the accepted score, he or she can appear for PIBM's internal assessment test PMAT. The selection procedure at PIBM pays attention to certain factors like previous academic records, aptitude test, interviews, groups discussion, and work experience. It helps the institute to understand the current level of a student on these parameters, who is taking the admission. So, if you haven't scored good marks in CAT but want to take admission then you can still go ahead with the application process and the college will check your capabilities during the selection process.

Let me share with you interview competencies that are tested as part of MBA interviews in LPU. The various parameters includes Fluency, Grammatical errors, elaboaration of concept, Clarity in thought process, Confidence, General Awareness and leadership quality. In LPU when you sit for an MBA interview there are 2 panelists one from the core domain and the other from soft skills to assess you on speaking skills. Both the panelists will be rating you on the competency and a score will be generated. On the basis of the cut off score only you will considered as qualified or not.

In order to get admission you need to be a graduate with a minimum of 50% marks. If you have completed your graduation and have a decent score on the management aptitude test then the candidate should be able to apply. The important factor is your CAT or MAT percentile. The admissions process is quite the same as other top B-schools. Once you fill out the form, your eligibility will be checked and based on your CAT or MAT percentile you may be called for GD and PI rounds.
